CCi's agricultural roots began with farming in 1874 as part of the Colorado
State Penitentiary inmate work program. More than 130 years later CCi is
proud to continue our agricultural heritage.
Approximately 560 acres are farmed among 8 prisons located throughout the
east Canon complex. Thirty acres are currently dedicated to vegetables
furnished to prison kitchens and the remaining 530 acres produce field
corn which is used for silage in the CCi dairies.
Thank you for visiting with us here at CCi Farming Operations.
We look forward to serving you.
